Melamine FYL****7 is a methanol/n-butanol highly mixed etherified
amino resin produced in mainland China, with a methoxy:butoxy ratio
(molar ratio) of about *5:*5 and a high solids content. Its surface
tension is relatively low, with good interlayer adhesion, excellent
leveling, high crosslinking density, and good resistance to salt
spray.
FYL****7 has a high degree of etherification and low reactivity, so
acid catalysts (such as PTSA, DNNDSA) are required to promote
cross-linking and curing.
FYL****7 is widely used in anodic electrophoresis, coil coating and
other metal baking paints in the Chinese market. It has been
maturely used in the Chinese industry and has high cost
