On the basis of long-term electrical automation product research and design, the Intelligent Arc Protection System is a new generation of intelligent arc protection system by importing advanced technology abroad.Â

Considering there is arc when faults happen inside the cabinet and the principle of lockout after over current, UNT designed and researched the UNT-EAP intelligent arc protection system with characters of fast, reliable, simple system configuration and strong adaptability, it is an ideal busbar protection solution.

UNT-EAP intelligent arc protection device can connect to several arc signal and current signal from the arc sensor. The arc sensor can be placed in any position of the switchgear; it is normally installed in switchgear compartment or along the busbar. The main action is on the basis of two different elements when there is a fault: arc and current increment. When the device detects the certain arc and current increment, it sends the trip commend and displays the position of the fault.

As the arc protection acquisition unit, the unit provides 8 s and 8 outputs arc acquisition, it collects arc by the detector and sends signal to the main unit by optical fiber and there is a communication port for data transmission to the main unit . When there are more than one acquisition unit, each acquisition unit transmits arc signal by series method, and transmit to the main unit finally.

As the rectifier cabinet acquisition unit, it collects arc by the light band method, and sends signal to the main unit by optical fiber and there is a communication port for data transmission to the main unit. UNT-EAP****0 Feeder protection unit
