Operating Principle:
DF****0 ultrasonic (pulp) density meter is the ultrasonic
attenuation measurement based on amplitude changes with measured
solids and particle size changes when the ultrasound spreads in
the pulp suspension. As long as it is measuring the attenuation
via ultrasound through the measured pulp, it will know the
measured pulp density. Under certain conditions, when the
particles are small in pulp, viscous absorption attenuation plays
a major role. When the particles are big in pulp, scattering
attenuation plays a major role.
