High Purity Tellurium Dioxide Powder
The monocrystal of tellurium dioxide can be used in infrared and
acousto-optic devices, especially as intrared windows, and used in
electrical components, while tellurium dioxide TeO2 powder can be
used as glass former, rubber vulcanizing accelerator and catalyst
or addictive in electroplating and conductive Ag potovoltaic
metallization paste for solar cells.
This white solid TeO2 powder will become yellowish after heating
and turn dark yellowish red after fusing. As a kind of amphoteric
compound tellurium dioxide is basically insolvable in water or
ammonia, yet solvable in strong acid adn alkali.
