T-ULTRAPOLY
MINERAL-PY membranes are made by saturating
and coating a robust reinforcement of non-woven
polyester **0 gm/m2, **0 gm/m2. It is
coated with a blend of thermoplastic modified bitumen compound
[APP Atactic poly propylene] used distilled Bitumen, additives.
This mix is produced with excess care, controlled Quality to
ensure membrane stability characteristics at high temperature,
and its flexibility at low
temperature. T-ULTRAPOLY
MINERAL-PY membranes are easy to apply by
torch, impermeable to water & retain good and weather
resistance properties.
FEATURES:
*Robust design product to meet all requirements.
*Good resistance to tear and puncture.
*Superior bonding [adhesion] with substrates and seams.
*Industrial product, heavy duty application.
SURFACE FINISH & SIZE OF ROLL:
Both top & bottom covered by P.E Thin films printed
Also SAND & SLATED finishes on exposed side to protect
The membrane from UV rays .The slate finish available
With various colors on customer choice .The membranes are
Produced thickness 3mm,
4mm and 5mm with the
standard length *0 meter and standard
width 1 meterwidely.
USES
T-ULTRAPOLY
MINERAL-PY membranes are suitable
for general roofing and waterproofing application and it can be
used in single or multi-layer system. Suitable on low slope
concrete roof, balconies, multi-story car parks, for lining
sewerage canals Sub level structures and any cement, concrete
flat substrate that needs waterproofing.
APPLICATION
The waterproofing surface must be thoroughly clean and level
prior to membrane laying work at the site, and free from loose
particles, stones, steel nails, oil, grease, dust and any
damaging materials present on substrate. A coat of TAJ PRIMER is
then applied to the concrete surface at ******0
gm/m2 rate. Applied primer should be dried well
before fixing the membrane.
Membranes are fixed by torch welding called Torch on Application.
The membrane rolls are to be kept ready near the open area in
which they are going to be laid, the rolls are laid, So that next
overlaps the first membrane by *0 cm along the side lap, the
membrane is then rolled back. They are unrolled once again while
heating the underside sufficiently to surface melting .End laps
min.*5 cm .Avoid uneven torching and excessive. The lap joint
area should be heated from top to produce thin molten bitumen at
the seam, which is then smoothened with trowel ensuring properly
welded joint.
EXPOSED ROOFING
For exposed application use TAJ MINERAL
MEMBRANES. These are produced with a top layer of
natural flat slate flakes. The membrane possess selvedge *0 cm
covered by release paper or fine sand .This is to forming lap
joints end of roll joints are made by scrapping of *5 cm of
flakes.
TOOLS
Gas, cylinder and gas torch for welding, knife for trimming, a
trowel with round tip, marking aids and gloves.
