1. Description

The scientific name of BFA is corundum, it is manufactured in an electric arcfurnace by controlled fusion and slow solidification. The mono-crystallinestructure provides the grains high toughness and strength, blocky grains isshaped with heavily mulled edges and has stable bulk density. In processing,dust is removed perfectly for giving very clear crystal surface with goodhydrophilicity.

2. Application

• In chemical system, it can be used as various reaction vessel, pipes andmoulds, especially in the area of abrasives, polishing, sandblasting,grinding well and precision casting.
• It can be used to smelt rare metals, special alloy, ceramics, be used infurnace lining(the wall  and pipe) and heat resistant anti-oxidation coating.
• BFA can also be used to make superior refractory products. In addition,we can process according to customer’s different request

F*-F**0 are available,according to FEPA, GB, JIS, ANSI standard or customer’s specific requirement is also available.

Grit F*4 and coarser: 0.*3% Max. Grit F*0 and finer: 0.*2% Max
