Features of our silica powder

(1)Our silica powder adopted the domestic unique high-quality quartz powder, gained by wet processing. Microcosmic particles are spherical, SiO2 content ≥ *9.*0%, does not contain any heavy metals and radioactive elements, its excellent performance completely different from the ordinary micro silica powder.not only particle are spherical, particle crystals kernel have no cracks, but also the overall particle size are average discreteness teach small particle crystal core cracks, but also the discreteness of overall particle size smaller than mean.(2)Water absorption much lower than general clay minerals, such as calcium carbonate, kaolin, talc, etc.Oil absorption rate and other index have more competitive advantage.(3)PH value is 6.5 to 7.5, good chemical inertness. The comparison shows that, natural powder’s viscosity is *9.6% lower than the ordinary milled powder when the particle size is same.

Applications

 (1)application in paints and coatings

Compared to other materials commonly used in paints, coatings:The commonly additivesused in Paints and coatings have wollastonite powder, silicon dry soil, quartz powder, mica powder, talc powder , glass beads, kaolin, silica, precipitated barium sulfate, heavy carbonate, light calcium,etc.The majority of these materials through the crushed into powder, part of them made by chemical precipitation, most of them are amorphous structure and difficult to disperse in paints and coatings. The product have bad thixotropy and easy to precipitate, easy caking , usually, by added expensively modified bentonite to adjust the thixotropy of the paint, in order to prevent pigment sinking and caking when stored.

Our silica powder is the unique minerals in China with its high purity. The ore is soil-like, particles is spherical. Our silica powder have the following characteristics: (1) Easily dispersed in paints and coatings and can significantly reduce the amount of modified bentonite with its good thixotropy, suspension and anti-settling properties. (2) As to the construction performance of paints and coatings, it is easily hanging flow if use precipitated barium carbonate, but our silica powder have no this problem (3) Can significantly improve the coating hardness, wear resistance, weather resistance, anti-acid and anti-alkali corrosion as well as other physical and chemical properties (4) Our silica powder can effectively reduce the overall costs for its lower price while improve the performance of paints and coatings.(5)Ideal for high-end filler of paints and coatings for properties of low impurity, high fineness ,high hardness, strong adhesion, high resistivity, good suspension performance, acidproof and alkaliproof.(6)Due to the unique particles microscopic morphology, our powder have good compatibility in the resin or sol system and have a low viscosity, thus making the system has a good dispersibility, suspension and good anti-settling properties, which superior to the traditional barium sulfate powder. (2)Application in rubber

(1)In battery plastic shell production, use quartz powder instead of clay and light Calcium carbonate can improve the filling amount from *5% to *5%.Rubber can fast absorb powder with out powder spray and powder flying. The powder have good vulcanization performance and easy mixed. The physical and mechanical performance of battery plastic shell like acid-proof,withstanding voltage,heat distortion,falling ball impact all can meet the requirements. The shell's appearance is smooth and the yield increased.

(2) In the rub paste rubber products, Rubber filled with quartz powder is dilute,good permeability,adhesion and strong, and good for rubberspread on canvas, as well as enhance the adhesion strength between the film and canvas. The mechanical performance of product like tensile strength,permanent deformation was significantly improved.

 (3)In production of electrical insulation sealing film, add silica powder to butyl rubber, the product have features of high dielectric strength, waterproof, heat-resistant, cold-resistant, resistance to chemical corrosion, anti-aging, good plasticity, good insulation characteristic, and apply to insulating seal of bus bar from 0.4KV to *0KV and exposed connector of all kinds of electrical appliances.

(3)Application in plastic

(1)Filled silica powder in PVC floor can increase its wear resistance. PVC floor made of filling volume from **0 portion to **0 portion's **0 mesh silica powder can full compliance with the GB******3 standard. Floor surface is smoothness and good resistance to engrave.

(2)In production of PVC tube sheet, when filling volume of silica powder reach *0% to *5%, it has low viscosity and good mobility compared with other materials. This good for extrusion and molding of the product, moreover, the acid resistance of tube sheet significantly improved.

(3)After superfine, classification and purification, filled PE film with quartz powder, for quartz can barrier infrared, thus can reduce heat loss and improve the heat preservation function of green house.
