This powerful *0 MIPS (**0 nanosecond instruciton execution) yest easy-to-program (only *7 single word instructions) CMOS FLASH-based **-bit microcontroller packs Microchip's powerful PIC architecture into an **-pin package and is upwards compatible with the PIC*6C5X, PIC*2CXXX, PIC*6CXX and PIC*7CXX devices and thus a "c" compiler firendly development environment, **8 bytes of EERROM, Self-programming, an ICD, capture/compare/PWM functions, 7 channels of **-bit Analog-to-Digtal (A/D)converter, Addressable Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (AUSART) and Advanced Low Power Oscilator controls. All of these features make it ideal for battery powered and power consumption critical applications including instrumentation and monitoring, date acquisition, power conditioning, enviromental monitoring, telecom and consumer audio/video applications.
