Organic Sainfoin Honey from Kyrgyzstan

Our honey comes from sainfoin flower plant, which grows naturally in the mountains located in the eastern region of Kyrgyzstan close to the Issyk-Kul lake. The bees, producing the honey are not fed with any additives like sugar water. The local beekeepers only provide them natural salt water to feel up the salt reservoirs of the bees.   

We are offering two different kind of sainfoin honey as seen in the pictures below. The only difference between those two, is the crystallisation process which has taken place. Therefore, the crystallised honey has a white colour and a solid structure, whereas its moisture level lies under *6,6% (see more in certificates).

Benefits and properties of sainfoin honey:

Antibacterial effect due to hydrogen peroxide concentration, low moisture and pH level. This conditions are rather unfavourable for bacteria growth. Therefore, our honey neutralises bacterial infections and has an anti-flammmatory effect.

Antioxidants in sainfoin honey inhibit diseases by reducing free radicals in the body.

Digestion is stimulated positively by smoothing the irritation on the stomach lining.

Higher nutritional value as well as vitamins and minerals content.

Tonic effect due to high concentration of natural sugars, aminoacids, propolis and bee pollen in sainfoin honey.

Neutralises intestinal parasites by boosting antiparastic actions in body.
