Description

Biohouse® LED Oilis a **0% solid content, UV-LED curable wood finish for indoor wood. It provides wood surface with oil treatment appearance and keeps the natural look and feel of the wood. Biohouse LED Oil is suitable for both on-site applications and industrial application. The surface treated with Biohouse LED Oil can be cured in seconds by handheld LED lamp or fixed lamp on coating line.

 

Biohouse LED Oil is solvent free and does not contain any harmful substances.

Requirements of LED Lamp

wavelength:                             **5nm

irradiation intensity:               min. 8W/cm2, ideal at *0~*2 W/cm2

 

Surface Preparation

Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost free, maximum moisture content *2%.

Final sanding is recommended with ******0#. Vacuum thoroughly.

 

Application：

Stir well before use. Dilution is not allowed.

Please avoid the oil from direct contact of daylight. Windows should be curtained during the application.



1. on-site application

We recommend to work in zones of ***0 m2.

Step 1:  Distribute a small amount of oil with cloth, white pad, a short-hair paint roller (<=5mm nap) or sponge roller.

Step 2:  Buff with a green pad under buffing machine. Then buff with white pad to even the surface.

Step 3:  Cure the surface with Biohouse Handheld LED lamp. The distance between lamp and the surface should be 2cm. Control the moving speed at about *0cm/second. Please move in a well planed pattern to avoid missing any spots. If necessary, repeat the curing process to make sure all the surface is fully cured.

 

 

2. industrial application

1st coat:                       *0 - *2 g/cm2 by roller coater

Buffing:                     Buff with 2 disc buffers and brushes

UV-LED curing:         Distance between the substrate and the LED-lamp is 1.0~2.0cm. Belt speed is about **6m/min.

Sanding:                  Sand with sandpaper **0#

2nd coat:                    5 - 8 g/cm2 by roller coater

UV-LED curing:      Distance between the substrate and the LED-lamp is 1.0~2.0cm. Belt speed is about **6m/min.

                    Irradiation intensity of LED lamp is recommended at min. *2 W/cm2.

Can be stacked or packed immediately after production line.

Machine Cleaning

Rinse machines with Biohouse UV Cleaner and remove rinse liquid with a small amount of acetone.

 

 

 

 

 

Storage

Can be stored above 1 year in original cans if the can is full and tightly closed. Do not let the oil contact with direct daylight otherwise the pre-curing will happen.
