In addition, its effect on the adrenal glands has been proven, that is, on the formation of hormones important for the body and, therefore, on increasing vitality. Finally, vitamin C is essential for wound healing. Rosehip tea is thus useful for infections with high fever, general weakness, and poorly healing wounds. It is also important for the elderly, in whom the intestines only have difficulty accepting the vitamins introduced into the body.
