The fault annunciator is produced in three
different categories - BSM-C basic version,
BSM-P parameterisable version and USM
annunciator with protocol interfaces. They can be provided in 6
different sizes with 8, *6, *4, *2, *0 or *8 signal s, in
which the signal s are arranged in groups of 8 alarms each.
The sealed front contains of 4 push s, bicolour-LED-displays
(red/green) and slide-in pockets for labelling strips. The
functions alarm acknowledgement, horn acknowledgement and lamptest
are fixed assigned to the s for BSM-C and can be
parameterized freely for BSM-P and USM. There the two function
s are used according to the chosen alarm sequence (e.g.
external acknowledgement). The integrated function relays, which
are realized as change-over contacts, are used for alarm specific
functions (e.g. collective report or triggering of an external
horn) as well as for the signaling of malfunction through an
alive-contact. Alarms can be forwarded by repeat-relays for
parallel - or output processing, either by inserted relay
cards or the connection of external relay modules through CAN-Bus
interface. In the BSM-C version, configuration of
the annunciator is done by DIP-switches. The alarm sequence,
function of the collective report as well as horn triggering by
subsequent alarms can be adjusted.
In addition to the characteristics of the basic
version the BSM-P can be parameterised through a USB-interface and
can be cascaded by additional annunciators. In this connection,
parameterization by browser guarantees besides configuration via
DIP-switch further application specific settings, e.g. first-up or
no-first-up alarm, *- or *-frequency-flashing or steady-steady
light. For each single alarm channel parameters like the signal
name (labelling), debouncing time or alarm delay can be set. With
the cascading functionality up to four devices can be grouped to an
annunciating system. The devices are connected via CAN-Bus
interface, in which one device works as master and the connected
devices work as slave. Thus systems with up to **2 signal s
(4**8) can be realized.
