Castable is a granular and powdered material made of refractory substances with a certain amount of binding agent and water. It is an indefinite refractory material with high fluidity, suitable for construction by pouring method and hardens without heating. It consists of refractory aggregate, powder, binding agent, admixture, water or other liquid materials. It is generally cast, vibrated or pounded at the site of use, and can also be made into prefabricated parts for use.
