High Temperature Insulation wool, known as ceramic fiber wool until the ***0s, is one of several types of Synthetic wool made, generally defined as those resistant to working temperature over ***0°C. The first variety, aluminum silicate fibre, developed in the ***0s, was referred to as Refractory ceramic fiber, mostly used in high temperature insutrial applications and processces.

High temperature insulating wools are light weight insulating materials with costly production and limited availability compared to mineral wool.
