Palletteries Ltd was established in ***6 as a manufacturer of container boards and pallets. At the moment we employ ****0 people depending on season in our three manufacturing plants in Kuldiga, Baldone and Kraslava. In ***1 we reached a turnover of nearly 5m EUR and we export *9% of our production. The main export markets are Sweden, Norway, Germany, Belgium, Holland and even Korea. In addition to our main products we are also producing big quantity of woodchips, where later this product is used for burning heating and electricity plants. We have recently also opened firewood manufacturing and expanded our sale of birch firewood to Scandinavian countries. We pay high attention to our partner€™s quality requirements. To guarantee the quality of the end product we have to purchase high quality raw material. Therefore recently we have started wood harvesting ourselves and buy the remaining materials from Latvian State owned company €Latvijas Valsts Meži€ (Latvian State Woods). We have developed vast and reliable delivery network, which ensures delivery of our goods in shortest possible time. This gives our company big advantage to satisfy changing demands of our client€™s.
