Rwanda Mountain Tea Ltd is the leading and the biggest Quality Tea producer in Rwanda. We are producers and traders of famous Black CTC Tea marks in East Africa and the rest of the world; namely Kitabi, Rubaya, Nyabihu, Gatare, Rutsiro, Mata, Gisakura, and now Nshili Kivu. The company furthermore manufactures and trades in Organic Black CTC and Organic Orthodox Black and Green Tea from our Rutsiro Factory. Our teas are famous and are widely used for blending. We are redefining the way the world thinks about and enjoys Tea by ensuring the leaves are beautifully sourced from the best Tea gardens, which provides the 'Unique Taste of Rwanda' and are individually hand-picked and packed every time. Our tea plantations are grown and is situated between 2,**0 - 2,**0 meters above sea level, and the company employs approximately more than *5,**0 workers and produces around *8 million kgs of made tea per annum.
 
Rwanda Mountain Tea Ltd has also embarked on diversification and value addition in the Tea sector which focuses on blending, packaging premised on the need to promote our products but also to tap into the growing markets locally, in the region and globally, and we can handle private label packing.
 
In addition to the above, all our factories are RA and ISO ****0 certified, but we also hold Organic certifications with ECOCERT (both EOS and NOP).
