VIKO is a footwear factory founded in ***6. We own the production of cow leather, mostly for footwear industry (cow box, nappa, nubuk, split box, split suede, nappa for accessories, etc), soles production and footware production. During the last *0 years we have specialized in the production of professional and safety footwear for oil, forest, shipyard, construction, metal, electronics and other industries.Our footwear is made of natural leather with rubber soles in combination with polyurethane, mostly injected (also can be glued), with linings containing conditioning membranes (intended for cold and hard working conditions), water-repellant and steam permeable.In ***5, the Croatian Chamber of Economy awarded VIKO with the right to use The Sign of Croatian Quality. This Sign can wear only Croatian products whose characteristics (composition, design, environmental criteria) ensure high quality. Viko became the first Croatian manufacturer of protective footwear whose products carry the prestigious mark. Because we are increasingly closer to joining the European Union, VIKO has worked diligently in that area and in ***8 became the owner of the CE certificate that guarantees that all requirements and standards of the European Union have been satisfied. In ***8 we met the requirements of ISO ***1:***0 quality management system, which is today the most widely accepted international standard.
