Marullo Spa

Marullo is a food company specialized in the processing of pistachio and dried fruit. Our customers include the food industry sphere and specifically the confectionery industry, distributors of homemade ice cream and ice cream industry.

The company  was born in the *0s and *0s, in the Sicilian town of Bronte, situated on the slopes of Mount Etna. As a small family business for marketing the pistachio, the company€™s business was focused solely on the processing and shelling the product.

During the next two decades Marullo is affirmed first in the local market and then in the national by expressing the characteristics of a strong growth in terms of production thanks to the birth of new lines of products for the food industry.

In ***8 the business development leads to the construction of a ***0 m2 and the introduction of new highly sophisticated machinery for the production of semi-finished products such as pistachio paste and natural grains, toasted and pralinate.

Since ***3 with the purchase of HPLC and microbiological laboratory, which allows to monitor the level of quality of the raw material and finished products along the entire path of processing, the company provides customers with the security of the supply chain.

Thanks to investments, the marketing strategies and the development of exports in the international markets, in ***8, Biagio Marullo, helm of the family wins the €OK Italian€ for excellence in the South, which is reflected in the award business results and in €˜increase in revenues.
