Bodageeve Custom Longboards Bodageeve is a custom longboard shop that creates custom longboards in a unique way that appeals to our customers like no other company does. With our beautiful handcrafted and hand painted boards, done by professionals, these custom Bodageeve longboards have personal meaning to each individual customer. The process begins with pressing five sheets of veneer maple wood together. Once pressed one of the three types of styles for the longboard is chosen. ( Pintail, Short Pintail, and Drop Deck) These three choices allow our customer to focus their money on the graphic design of the longboard and still have an well designed deck. After one of the three styles are chosen ( Pintail, Short Pintail, Drop Deck) the craftsmen will begin to cut out and sand the the pressed maple veneer to the desired design. During the process of creating the longboard deck, the craftsmen uses a special technique called "Stressing the Wood" which gives the wood on the board a unique look that stands out between any other board our there for the time being. This stessing process brings out the grains and grooves of the wood, giving it an all round custom beautiful feel. Once the longboard deck is carved out, sanded and stressed it is then sent on to the graphic stage. Here the customer will have a choice of any base paint color they would like to deck to have (Red, Blue, White, Black and ect) or they can have our specially mixed stain (Van Dike Brown) to be applied. Bodageeve Longboards highly recommends using this stain because it brings out the color of the acrylic paints and also the grain in the wood. After the base color or stain is decided and applied it is sent off to our professional artist. Bodageeve hires only profession artists with degrees in art due to the high demand of accuracy that our customers expect. Bodageeve longboards works with each customer including compainies by having they simply email us a graphic that they desire on the longboard. Bodageeves design team will then design a prototype longboard and send back the picture to the customer. Once approved payment will be recieved in full by then and the artist will start painting with acrylic paints to the exact design agreed upon by Bodageeve and their customer. Nothing less is expected but what the customer wants. After the painter has painted on the graphic, the longboard is sent to the finishing stage. Here the hardware and final stages are completed. The clear or black grip tape is applied and the following are assembled to make the longboard deck a completed longboard with hardware. (Trucks, Bearings, Grip Tape, Bolts, Riser Pads, and Wheels.) The hardware set can also be customized in color to meet the customers needs. The Bodageeve Custom Longboard is now complete. Once the longboard is **0% completed the customer will be notified immediatly and the longboard will be sent off to the desired location. Bodageeve Longboards also works with companies that would like their own logo and designs done one longboards to meet their own company standards.
