involved in manufacture of Modified starch, and innovative starch
products in India. We are a family owned business since more than

the market. Dr. Satyajit A Karandikar, joined the company as
Director in ***0 after completing his MSc. from UK and Marie Curie
funded European PhD program in Organic Chemistry. Under his able
guidance, KOPL is working towards improvement of existing
technology and development of new and specialized products that
could be introduced in existing and new markets.
We supply our products to various non-food industries like
Textiles, Paper packaging, Concrete admixture, Ceramics, Adhesives,
and Foundry. KOPL aims to develop novel green chemicals that could
substitute environmentally hazardous or harmful chemicals.
We ventured into manufacturing of Chitosan powder as we find it an
interesting biopolymer that can find innovative uses in various
fields.
