In ***7, Batrik Medical Manufacturing Inc. was launched, specializing in the fabrication of silicone and plastic products used in surgery, CSR/SPD and Endoscopy. These products are manufactured in our onsite, HEPA-filtered production facility. Batrik immediately set itself apart with its ability to offer product customization, and soon its marketing reach was extending well beyond North America. Batriks products are now sold on an international level through a network of established dealers in over *5 countries. Batrik is a Valued Partner of the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM). Imperial Surgical Ltd. (ISL) was acquired in ***8, a move which proved to be a perfect compliment. Imperial Surgical Ltd. brought its excellent reputation to Surgmed, a legacy which dates back to ***5, making it one of Canada's oldest hospital capital equipment manufacturers.
