History Control Instruments East Rand was established in June ***4 by Darryl Lawrence. The main focus of the business was Fleet Management Systems, Tachographs to the Transport Industry, and Clock Card Machines to factories. The aim of the Company was, and still is, to provide industry-leading products and top quality service to customers. A massive re-branding initiative was begun in the middle of May, which saw the firm take on a completely new look and name. Initially we were closely associated with the Control Instruments Group and its products. Over time, our range expanded to many new products and suppliers, thus the change became imperative in order to position ourselves as a unique entity in the South African and global markets. The project will be completed by the end of July. The Company opened with 5 staff members including one Director. The first nine months€™ turnover was initially around the one and a half million Rand mark. Advanced Telematics is proud to have achieved a **0% growth in the first five months in ***5. Staff headcount has increased to over *4 and annual turnover has grown by **0 % to three and a half million Rand mark, due to pure dedication and superior service to Advanced Telematics (Pty) Ltd clients by its entire staff.***6 the annual turnover has grown to the five million Rand mark. The company now employs *5 people and has a Branch in Durban KZN, Cape Town and Lusaka Zambia Advanced Telematics has appointed Mr. F R Pandelani as Director and shareholder as of the 1st February ***6. Advanced Telematics believes that, with all his knowledge and experience, Mr. Pandelani will add great value to the business. Advanced Telematics (Pty) Ltd is also a proud member of the ANC Progressive Business Forum since December ***6 JHBP**8. Present ***6 has been an action-packed year for the firm. The most exciting step is the BEE process, which has finally been successfully negotiated and is now well underway.
