Our product, which is certified under the name of "AROTRO", is pure Organic extra virgin olive oil of maximum quality from the region of Sparta, Greece. The above mentioned oil has been subjected to the strict quality control and has excellent smell, aroma colour and average acidity of about 0.3 which makes it, an oil of exquisite quality. The oil is sold in glass bottles of **0ml- **0ml. Our particular product comes from the Peloponessian region, from the olive groves near Sparta. The subspecies of the olive tree that this particular olive comes from ATHENOLIA, (also known as TSOUNATI) which is from a family of small fruit olive trees. This variety is mainly used to produce the highest quality of olive oil. The variety is more common in Crete but also thrives on mainland Greece. The olive tree can usually grow up to *0m high and which the olives have a black –violet colour when they mature. The oil content of these olives ranges between ****5% (a very high percentage of oil content). This variety is able to withstand cold conditions and can grove up to***0m altitude. Its delicious flavour makes this oil ideal for cooking, marinating and dressing for salads.
