Camellia oil is an edible light amber-colored, non-volatile oil that has a sweet herbal aroma, commonly known as "camellia seed oil" , "camellia oleifera seed oil", a carrier vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the Camellia oleifera evergreen plant, it is one of the four main oil-bearing trees along with olive, palm, and coconut in the world . Camellia oil is honored as "Oriental olive oil" shares similar chemical composition with olive oil, with high amounts of oleic acid and linoleic acid and low saturated fats.  It is higher in antioxidants than olive oil and is used in soap and cosmetics to help mature skin look more refined, and nourishes dry, mature skin for a more beautiful-looking complexion.In addition, it also contains bioactive substances, like amino-acids, vitamin A、B、C、D and E, tea polyphenols, camellia squalene etc, with good permeability and absorption.
