Application: CHAPS is a kind of non denatured amphoteric ion detergent for membrane biochemistry. It can be used to dissolve membrane proteins and interrupt protein-protein interaction. CHAPS has low micelle molecular weight (6,**0) and high critical micelle concentration (***0mM), so the chemical book can be removed from the sample by dialysis. It is also suitable for protein dissolution in isoelectric focusing and two-dimensional electrophoresis. CHAPS is often used in non denatured (urea free) isoelectric focusing, and it has been found that it can obtain excellent resolution for some subcellular preparations and plant proteins. The concentration between **4% (w/v) is usually used for isoelectric focusing gel. A non denatured zwitterionic detergent for membrane biochemistry can be used for dissolving membrane proteins and interrupting protein protein interaction; it is also suitable for dissolving proteins in isoelectric focusing chemistry books and two-dimensional electrophoresis; it is commonly used for non denatured (urea free) isoelectric focusing; RNA and DNA are extracted, without RNA enzyme and DNA enzyme activity. Amphoteric surfactant, CHAPS is a non denatured zwitterionic detergent and protein lysate, which is used to dissolve the interaction between membrane protein and lysate protein.
