Mullite is made of kaolin by high temperature sintering. The
chemical components of mullite are all chemical substances with
strong fire resistance, and their properties are relatively stable.
It mainly includes: alumina, silica, etc., the content of alumina

superoxide, potassium superoxide, titanium oxide, magnesium oxide,
etc.
The grain size of mullite is also different for different purposes.
Generally, we use "mesh" to measure the grain size of mullite,
including 8 to *6 mesh, *6 to *0 mesh, *0 to *0 mesh, *0 to *0
mesh, *0 to **0 mesh; mullite powder mainly includes **0 mesh and
**0 mesh.
To make zirconium powder, **5 mesh mullite powder and silica sol
are needed, and then **0 mesh zirconium sand is added.
To make the back layer slurry, **0 mesh mullite and silica sol are
needed, and ****0 mesh mullite is added to the slurry.
The reinforcing layer is made of the same raw material as the back
layer slurry, but ****0 mesh mullite is needed.
Sealing paste, only need to use **0 mesh mullite powder and silica
sol.
