MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

Glofa Tilting Disc Swing Check Valve design with a butterfly stype disc installed on the valve stem. The valve seat is floating elastic metal seal type. It could help the seat adjust contacting with the valve disc automatically. The valve seat sealing surface is a part of the inclined cone, the sealing line formed between the valve seat and the valve disc is approximately elliptical curve. The angle between the plane of the curve and the valve flow centerline is *0 degrees, the long axis center of the approximate ellipse sealing line and the cone axis form an angle eccentricity, that is, the axis of the cone of the valve seat sealing surface and the center line of the valve body flow path form a second eccentric angle of *5 degrees to *0 degrees, the valve disc rotation axis and the axis of the cone forms an eccentric amount, it is also in an eccentric position with respect to the plane of the seal line, forming an eccentric amount.

DESIGN ADVANTAGES

When the pressure of the medium reaches its working pressure, the valve disc opens, and when the pressure of the medium decreases, the butterfly type disc automatically closes. Because the valve disc and the metal seat have the feature of a triple eccentric butterfly valve, this structure allows the valve flap to perform a kinematic oscillating motion. No friction or sliding contact occurs during the close and open between the disc and the valve seat. When it is closed, the valve can quickly get seal without any impact or collision with the valve seat without assistance of external force. At the same time, it has the characteristics of large flow and small flow resistance. The tilting swing check valve can be closed quickly due to the short traveling distance of the disc and it can quickly reach the seat position, thus minimizing the impact with the disc at utmost.
