Flat peaches of the
Fruits of Carthage honey peaches.
Flat peaches belong to the Rosaceae
family. They have a small stone that is easily detached from the
flesh. This flattened and plump fruit is surprising since it is
easy to eat in comparison with round peaches. Flat peaches have
other advantages. They are convenient because of their smaller
size, which do not exceed 4 cm in thickness and thus are easy to
carry.
Its skin is thin and has no down.
It has a different taste from other peaches, and offers a white and
tasty deliciously scented flesh.
Flat peaches of the
smooth range of Carthage, have a taste of
honey and can be eaten from mid-May until September.
Peaches are ideal in the summer as
they are refreshing and low in energy.
It is at the same time a dessert and a light snack perfect for those wishing to keep the figure and quite compatible with slimming or other diets.
Tasty, sweet and juicy as they are flat peaches are often sold at the point of maturity and instantly eaten.
