The silicone is a synthetic polymer that combines within itself a number of properties which give
the advantage to the silicone over any other similar element in nature: resistance to high and
low temperatures, excellent electrical insulation, a good capability for heat conduction, water
repellency, anti-static and anti-corrosive, an excellent releasing power, prevents adhesion
between matters and inertia - silicone does not attack any element, is not attacked by
chemicals and is not dangerous to the human body. Therefore, it is possible to find silicone in
artificial organs for transplant, in medical products and in medicinal preparations.
