Gum Arabic
Gum Arabic is a product of nature obtained by tapping the branches
of the Acacia Senegal tree and its closely related species. There
are different types of Gum Arabic produced by different trees the
main two types are Hashab (Grade 1) and Talha(Grade 2) other are
Gum Olibanum, Kakamut Gum and Gum karaya. There are different
Qualities of Gum Arabic like HPS (Hand Pick Selected), Granules,
Sifting, Dust and Mechanical powder.
The Uses and Applications of Gum Arabic it is mostly used in the
food industries as a stabilizer and thickener, other uses are:
Printing, Paint production, Glue, Food (sweets, chocolates….etc.),
Soft drinks (Coca-Cola, Pepsi), Medical industry (Capsules shells),
Cosmetics and various industrial Applications.
