Capsicum Ointment

Description

Capsicum oleoresin is a natural extract obtained from capsicum annuum. Its most important active ingredient is the capcaicin, which gives the pepper its bitterness. Vanilloids are mostly in interaction with receptors located at peripheral nerves. It is helpful in treating rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, post-herpetic neuralgia, painful diabetic neuropathy and other peripheric sensorial neuropathies. It is also used in treating muscle, joint discomforts, as well as rheumatism, sciatica and lumbago.
