Superfine vertical grinding mill is designed with the technology
base of German grinding mill and Taiwan superfine roller. It
is an advanced grinding unit manufactured with world
class technology and our grinding mill manufacturing
experience of about *0 years. This mill is used for crushing,
superfine grinding, classifying and drying of materials.
Application
Vertical grinding mill is a large scale equipment mainly used in
metallurgy, construction,
chemical, mining industry etc. It is widely used for superfine
grinding of non-metal ores with Mohs hardness less than 8 and
moisture less than 6%, such as calcite, marble,
limestone, coarse whiting, talc, kaolin, barite, dolomite,
potassium feldspar, manganese ore etc.
Working Principle
When the mill starts to work, the main motor rotates the millstone
through reduction box and the air gets into the mill through air
intake. The material fall on the centre of millstone through screw
feeder and move from centre to the edge of the millstone under the
effect of centrifugal force. The materials are grinded by the
rollers while moving across the grinding zone. The coarse particles
are crushed and grinded directly whereas smaller particles form
material bed in which mutual grinding takes place.
The grinded material keep moving to the edge of the millstone till
they are swept away by strong air flow and the big pieces fall down
to the mill stone for regrinding. The materials in the airflow
passes through the impellor on the classifier above. The coarse
powder goes back to the millstone again whereas fine powder goes
out of mill and collected by cyclone collector. These collected
powder is the final product of grinding mill.
The sundries for instance iron pieces mixed in the material moves
to the edge of the millstone with the materials and falls down to
the bottom part of the mill as they are heavy and cant be blown up.
Then these sundries are scraped to the waste discharge opening and
discharged out of mill.
The fineness of final product can be controlled by adjusting the
rotating speed of the impellor in the classifier. The pressure in
the rollers can be changed by adjusting the pressure of the
hydraulic system to suit material of different hardness.
