Steel frame screen is widely used for oilfield at present. The screen is composed of 2 to 3 stainless steel layers bonded to a steel frame. The frame is made up of high-strength square steel tube or flat steel welded to multi-ribbed construction. Screens can be bonded to steel frame via metal plate, or bond to frame directly. The frame screen can be wave type and flat type. The advantages are high performance, easier install and disassembly.
