Description

he Thin Section Radial Contact (or Deep Groove) Ball Bearings refers to the single row deep groove bearing that consists of an inner ring and an outer ring with super deep grooves. The depth of the raceway groove equals to *5% of the diameter of the steel ball. The performance is the best when the radial clearance between the steel balls and the raceway is smallest. There are three reasons why the standard bearings are provided with certain clearance: (1) the interference fits between bearings and mounting area; (2) the different thermal expansions or contractions of the different steel raceways; (3) the change of the clearance due to the misalignment between the shafts and the housing. Therefore, the center of the raceway radius is on the centerline of the steel balls.
