router is a a machine with a revolving vertical spindle and cutter
for milling out the surface of wood. It is controlled by hand, not
a cnc router, so also called hand wood router or hand
router.
A wood router is
a must have tool in any woodworking shop.

uses for a wood router are: cutting grooves, flanges, profiling,
cut dove tales, rounding out an edge, decorative work, shape edges,
cutaways, holes, contours, rabbets, pattern work, climb cuts,
joinery, edge work, raised panels and fancy
