Paradise nut meal is a natural nutritional Selenium source. It is in fact the only natural Selenium source existing. 
Selenium is an exceedingly important trace element. Adequate supply strengthens the immune response, reduces incidence of viral and bacterial infections, reduces incidence of cancer and circulatory diseases. 
Paradise nuts (Lecythis sp. From South America) are processed in South Africa. They are pressed to remove the oil, the residue is ground, homogenized, and blended with a carrier (e. G. Maltodextrin) to obtain a standard concentration of Selenium (0. 1% or 0. 2% ) . 
The product is a raw material to be used for the manufacture of gelatine capsules, tablets or general food preparations. It will impart the desired concentration of natural Selenium.
