Cenospheres
 
Cenospheres are lightweight, inert, hollow, nonmetallic spherical materials, comprised largely of silica (SiO₂) and alumina (Al₂O₃). Its appearance is of light gray or offwhite with good flowability and looseness. Due to their corrosion-resisting, thermal stability, high particle strength, good insulating, sound isolating, nonpoisonous, low water absorption, low thermal conductivity, low shrinkage, good chemical stability, Cenospheres are utilized as a high performance filler material, which can replace other mineral filler. It is used in oil drilling and refractory, plastics, rubber, electricity, marine, automotive and construction products.
 
It can be used in plastics of many types, paints, coatings, oil well drilling muds and cements, refractories, Insulating materials, Ceramics, Marine compounds , floatation materials, textured construction materials, Gunite, Specialty cements, Recreation equipment, Automotive components.
