With the development of non-oil
medium voltage, vacuum switch and its unique feature is widely
application and promotion. In recent years, because of the
difference of production process technology and onsite using
environment,vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber of some vacuum
switch has certain leakage in operation process, even some are
within normal life but cannot open and close because of leakage. In
the circumstance, abnormal open and close cause serious sequence.
National vacuum switch accidents are major caused by the problem.
So, strengthen the regular detection is important
point.
Traditional detection method is
"withstanding voltage", that is, make vacuum switch under open
status, add certain voltage between move and static contact, and
check the size of leakage current, and based on the check result to
judge the good/bad status of vacuum switch. Advantages of the
method is: easy operationï¼›weak point is: only check good or bad
of vacuum switch qualitatively, but vacuum degree cannot be
distinguished in ***5~***1Pa, so cannot judge the tendency of
leakage (that is, do not know how much leakage comparing previous
test and present test for same switch).
Huazhong university of science and technology has been researching
and designing the vacuum degree of vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber
for onsite quantitative detection from ***0s, and obtain patent in
***9 after ten years hard work and realized onsite no-disassembling
quantitative measurement. Have the quantitative measurement, not
only detect if the vacuum degree is in normal scope, but the
important is that for fast leakage speed of vacuum switch, after
years\' experienced test and comparison, can evaluate it is
lifetime roughly, really realized how to prevent accident
happening.
