Q06 Line array loudspeaker

Description

The Q*6 Line Source element has an operating frequency bandwidth from *0 Hz to *8 kHz and this response can be lowered down to *5 Hz with the addition of the Q*6SW Iow frequency extension cabinet.

The Q*6 system is a *-way, bi-amplified design and is equipped with 2 x 6.5" speakers in a bass-reflex tuned enclosure. The HF section features a 1.5" diaphragm driver coupled to a HRT waveguide. The V-shaped coplanar transducer configuration generates a symmetric horizontal coverage of **0 deg without secondary lobes over the entire frequency range.

The combination of coplanar symmetry and HRT waveguide in the HF region allows the system to fulfil the WSBT criteria, thereby allowing the wavefront of a Q*6 line source to be curved up to a maximum of *0 deg for each element without breaking the inter-element acoustic coupling.

The Q*6 enclosure heart is made of first grade Baltic birch plywood with top and bottom aluminum plates to ensure maximum acoustical and mechanical integrity. The *-point rigging system allows flying up to *4 Q*6.
