The core components of HL-30X guided wave radar produces high frequency pulse, and make it spread along the sensor components (steel cable or steel rod or corrosion-resistant cable/rod). When the pulse encountered the measured material, the dielectric constant mutated, part of the energy of the pulse wave generated reflection, the formation of the reflected waves spread back to the core components of guided wave radar, through high-frequency microwave circuit the formation changed to current signal, the time interval between launching wave and reflected wave is proportional to the measured level or interface length. According to the time interval the micro-processing device calculated and outputted corresponding to current signal.
