Introduction
Seawater filtering system’s shell, filtering elements are made of anti-corrosion and anti-abrasion materials to ensure longer service life and lower clients’ investment costs.
It is mainly applied in drilling platforms, primary filtering of seawater desalting process, power station’s cooling water system, secondary filtering system of electrolysis seawater, electrolysis production system of sodium hypochlorite, cooling system of port tank yard, onshore oilfield and other industries.
 
Structure principle
Seawater filter consists of vessel, filtering element, backwash mechanism, electric cabinet, reduction gear box, electric valve and differential pressure control device, etc.
The vessel is separated into clean liquid cavity and turbid liquid cavity by diaphragm. Many filtering columns are installed on the diaphragm. The pumped turbid liquid from inlet flows into turbid liquid cavity, passes through diaphragm’s pores and then into filtering element center. Residues of larger size than pores will be retained. Clean liquid passes through the pores to clean liquid cavity and is discharged from outlet.
When the residues reach a certain thickness, differential pressure between turbid liquid cavity and clean liquid cavity will be generated and starts automatic backwash mechanism. Manual mode is also available to discharge filter residues.
