O Ring Selection

The \'O\' rings are ring shaped seals of circular cross section.
They are having widest range of sealing applications such as in
static situation, esistance against fluid and gaseous media,
dynamic sealing element for axial, rotating & oscillating
movement. To cover most possible technical specifications and
applications, \'Crown\' \'O\'rings are manufactured in four
different qualities of material.
1. \'Crown\' *0 NBR: The standard material, having excellent
perform to seal in mineral oil, Hydraulic fluids with mineral oil,
greases & fuels. It has very good elasticity, better cold
flexibility down to **8o C, best gas permeability, low compression
set, and withstand static pressure up to **0 bar.
2. \'Crown\' 0 NBR: A special material mainly suitable for higher
pressures in dynamic conditions. This polymer has excellent
resistance to friction, swelling in hydraulic fluids, superior
water resistance (Hot water up to ***0o C). It can used at extreme
high pressures as static seals with zero leakage.
3. \'Crown\' *0 FKM: Widely used in applications for chemically
aggressive media & high temperatures up to **0o C.
4. \'Crown\' *0 EPDM: This group of material have very high
performance to resistance in hydraulic fluids with glycol base,
break fluid, hot water. Suitable in hydraulic systems using fire
retardant hydraulic fluids of groups HFC and HFD. I has very good
resistance to ozone, aging and weathering. Temperature range for
use **0o C to ***0o C.
5. Other Range of Material: Besides above range of polymers CRP
supplies \'O\' rings as per customer\'s specification and
application requirements. Nitrile (NBR), Natural Rubber (NR), SBR,
some of major materials being used are - Neoprene, EPDM, Silicon,
Viton (FKM), HNBR, Fluoro Silicon (FVMQ), Polyurethane (PU),
etc.
