Parboiled rice milling plant consisted of two parts:
Parboiling equipment and Rice milling equipment.
Processing details is as below:
1) Cleaning stage: to remove the dust, stone and impurities from paddy.
2) Soaking stage: to make paddy fully absorb water content
3) Steaming stage: to make rice absorb the nutrition from paddy.
4) Drying stage: to remove the moisture from the paddy.
5) Husking stage: to remove the husk from paddy
6) Milling stage: to remove the bran from rice
7) Polishing stage: to polish the rice and make the rice with good shining color.
8) Grading stage: to separate broken rice from good ones and grade rice.
9) Sortex stage: to separate bad color rice and other grains from the finish rice.
*0) Packing stage: to pack the rice
into bags as per request.
Character of parboiled rice:
1) Higher nutritional value than ordinary rice. Water-soluble vitamins and mineral salts after water infiltration come to inside the endosperm, and during the course of the rice milling process it is still preserved.
2) Increase the production capacity 1% to 4%, increase *0% of rice hulling capacity, and reduce *0% of energy consumption, greatly reduce the breaking ratio. Because the paddy have been soaked and steamed, which has changed the structure of paddy.
3) Expandtion capacity is good, make food ratio increase *7% to *6%
4) Greatly increase the storage period. During the course of steaming, it has killed most pests and microognism, also it make the rice lost sprout ability, so when storing the rice, it can prevent the rice from enzyme changing and pests infracting.
