 2.good weldability. copper clad aluminium cable has good weldability as pure copper for its surface is covered with a layer of copper. which avoid the dangers of cable end is burnt when aluminium cable is corroded ,destroyed or poor contact of conduct with wire end caused by weld without tin &poor press.
   3.Light weight, soft quality, easily processed, convenient to install&transport.
   4.Copper clad aluminium has the advantages of low cost&stable price. Which overcome the disadvantages of high cost or instable price.
   5. Except with the advantage of pure copper conductor, AC resistance of copper clad aluminum and copper clad aluminum/copper is smaller than pure copper, based on the same DC resistance.copper clad aluminum’s AC resistance is less than copper, its capacity is 2%*5% more than copper conductor(the larger cross-section area the greater effect. the technical index of cable loss,temperature rise& higher harmonic is better than copper conductor.Its joint’s temperature rise is lower than copper when connect with the same copper terminal.
