 1.Properties
ACTIVATED BLEACHING EARTH Â is milky white powder, odorless, tasteless and non-tonic. It\'s a kind of adsorbent,which is produced with clay (mainly bentonite), through inorganic acid treatment, water rinsing and drying.

ACTIVATED BLEACHING EARTH is with strong adsorption properties to colored substances and organic substances. It is easily moistened in the air. It may reduce the adsorption if placed long time. However, being heated to more than **0°C will cause the lost of crystal water, and changing the structure and affecting the fading effects.

ACTIVATED BLEACHING EARTH do not dissolve in water, organic solvent and various oils. But it almost dissolves in hot caustic soda and hydrochloric acid.
