Our product is known as "Natural Plantation Chocolate". On one side, in the plantation chocolate category, what differentiates us is an important factor: that our chocolate is made in the same plantation is has been harvested. In our case, the chocolate is made inside the Hacienda where the cocoa plantation is located, and we have complete control over the entire process of sowing, harvest and pos harvest of the product, providing an incomparable guarantee to its quality.

 

On the other side, our chocolate is natural. We work directly with the cocoa liquor, using only natural ingredients. In fact, we have replaced artificial flavors, with a unique ingredient that makes our chocolate unique. Is the algarrobina: comes from the pod of the Algarrobo's tree, which is original from the region. This extract resembles a type of sweet honey, which gives the chocolate a very special touch. Without a doubt one of the main characteristics of the HACIENDA EL CASTILLO's chocolate is its production process. First, it is important to highlight that we have the capacity to control the entire process "from the bean to the bar" which guarantees the quality in our products. The bases for a good chocolate begin in the field and the pos harvest processes. At the HACIENDA EL CASTILLO we put special care in these processes before reaching the manufacturing of chocolate (LINK Agricultura Cacao).

 

Another important aspect of our production process is that the machines and equipment have been designed and built in our facilities by our chocolate masters. Our process is guided by the most intense quality norms with a traditional feeling. At the HACIENDA EL CASTILLO we consider that making good chocolate is an art
