Wayuu is an ethnic group from South America, and the women of this communities dedicate their life\'s to create these unique and beautiful mochillas. Each mochila is one of a kind and are distinguished by their geometric figures and vibrant colors. Their  admirable  patterns are inspired by nature, animals and the universe making of them a piece of art. It takes up to a month for the woman of these communities to woven each bag and the complexity of the patterns will determine the market value. 

The Wayuu\'s have kept this tradition for many years and as part of their heritage culture each bag won\'t be repeated and therefore each one is unique. These mochilas are not just a bag, they are a piece of expression of  the Wayuu culture and every time that you purchase and wear one, you are supporting the jobs and traditions of these communities.
