Description

Located in the Cova da Beira, between the Serra da Estrela and Gardunha ( portugal ) the DAMAR main activity is the production of artisan cheese, characteristic of the region.
Years of knowledge dedicated to producing quality cheeses, and whose outcome is in sight. Or rather, this result is the proof.

Milk, very freshest, is collected on farms in the region and used in its pure and raw form. The manufacturing process inherited from our grandparents, passes through the use of natural coagulants: thistle of vegetable origin for the production of pure sheep cheese buttered, and animal rennet to produce the remaining cheese.
All this to keep up a secular heritage that has provided so much pleasure in around a good table.
