Description
DESCRIPTION:
The
success of the VXR v2 has been the perfect platform to develop the
next evolution. The all-new wingtip construction is a longer design
for increased aerodynamics throughout the canopy. Two new designs
have been added for wind condition specific racing, adding a
greater advantage over the competitor. For extreme light wind, the
VXR v2 *8 incorporates new, skinnier, lightweight bridles, which
decrease turbulence throughout the kite for better flying
characteristics, no single inflation system and a 3 strut design
for ****0% lighter kite, for ***2 knot racing. The VXR v2 8m has
been adapted to a slightly lower aspect design, taking into account
gusty and high winds used in Course and Slalom.
The
VXR v2 works best with the Smartbar 5.
THE LAB:
V3
BRIDLE SYSTEM
Featured
on all the ***4 Airush Kites, with the exception of the Razor Team
and DNA, the V3 Bridle System adds not only to the safety benefits,
but also contributes significantly to the feeling and performance
of the kites. The positioning of the bridle attachment points on
the LE of the kite, combined with the V pulleys, gives a very
smooth and responsive de-power. This allows for steering that is
light, but direct enough to feel where your kite is while riding.
This also enables the kite to be steered and controlled when
the kite is completely de-powered which is ideal for wave
riding.
SL-C
The
Supported Leading Edge C-Kite, or SL-C, is dedicated to riders who
want the most out of a *-line. The SL-C concept gives a
C-Shape arc, which delivers great turning and direct response in
combination with Support Leading edge range and
relaunching.
TIPS & TUNING:
We put
a lot of focus on the VXR v2. As the popularity of racing grew, we
were able to receive more feedback and data to improve the kites.
By observing the wind range that these kites are being used in, we
have added two completely new sizes, which focus on extremely light
and high winds. In addition to this, we redesigned the wingtips
adding greater balance. As the performance base of the VXR v2 has
increased – Tuning and Adjusting to the wind conditions are
absolutely essential. You can read all about this throughout the
VXR v2 webpage and in the booklet located inside the
kite.
