The NV*1 comes with a standard **0 note capacity cashbox and uses eSSP (encrypted Smiley Secure Protocol or ccTalk. The NV*1 leaves the factory pre-set to at least one currency so is ready for immediate installation.

Triple lock capability comprises of a lock on the validator head to secure the head to the main unit and two locks located on the actual cashbox.
